Anchor, and step-father of William F. Barrett. Beaufort J. Anchor was with the Roosevelt firm of New York City, New York, as head tuner at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, branch shop; he bought the Roosevelt branch shop in Philadelphia in 1892, and established his own firm; he was succeeded by his son, John M.
