2016-09-05/2019-02-11 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, September 5, 2016. - Neville Frederick Cool was with Charles McManis of Kansas City, Kansas from 1951 to 1953. He founded his own firm, Temple Organ Co. in 1953 on July 4, 1953, in Independence, Missouri. Cool relocated to Lamoni, Iowa in 1958, then to Burlington, Iowa in 1966. He returned to Lamoni in 1970, then moved the firm to St. Joseph, Missouri in 1975 where it remains today. Cool retired from building pipe organs in 1994 turning the business over to his son, David Cool. The senior Cool then built digital organs using equipment from Artisan in Canada until 2000.
