2015-08-17/2019-04-29 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, December 11, 2016. - Brian Davis is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Following college, he was with the Visser-Rowland firm in Houston, Texas as a flue and reed pipe voicer from 1984 to 1993, becoming Tonal Director there in 1990. He left Visser-Rowland in 1993; and worked on independent organ projects as freelance organbuilder for part of the year before joining Miller Pipe Organ Co. of Louisville, Kentucky as Tonal Director in 1993. He has been with Buzard Pipe Organ Builders LLC. of Champaign, Illinois as Tonal Director from 1995 to the present, where he is also a managing member of the firm.
