2016-03-07/2019-02-11 - From the OHS PC Database Builders Listing editor, March 7, 2016. - Founder, owner, and operator of Arndt Organ Supply Company L. L. C., a supply firm specializing in replacement parts for theater organs whose manufacturers are no longer in business. Robert Arndt has been working in the pipe organ industry since 1962, starting with working with his father, Elmer Arndt, in servicing and installing pipe organs in midwestern states. The younger Arndt established his own firm in 1966. The first product produced was a copy of the Howard "Wonder" Seat which gave organists support to play for hours of silent movies. Responding to the needs of customers, AOSC then began reproducing many parts and items for Wurlitzer theater pipe organs, church pipe organs, player pianos, and band organs, as well as building new church and theater pipe organs.
