Edited February 5, 2017, (Hall). - Born March, 1846 in Germany; immigrated to United States in 1870; member of the Journeymen Church Organ Builders' Association, 1898. He was a partner with Henry G. Stoehr in Eifert & Stoehr of Astoria, New York, c.1899-c.1915; the firm continued after his retirement. Eifert died December 5, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York. Sources: Peter T. Cameron.
