2004-10-30/2019-04-29 - From the Builders Listing editor, Jan. 17, 2017. - Robert Faucher worked in West Springfield, Massachusetts for Berkshire Organ Company, Inc. from 1975 to 1987. In 1987, he moved to Biddeford, Maine and established Faucher Organ Company where it remains active as of this update. The Faucher Organ Company builds electrical action pipe organs and pipe/digital combination instruments. They serve New England and the surrounding areas. President Robert Faucher describes their tonal philosophy: "Faucher Organ Company-s tonal philosophy is somewhat eclectic but benefits strongly from following the disciplines of the unfailing North-German principles. This style is not only best for congregational singing but also allows authentic performance of many types of musical literature." Staff: Robert Faucher, President and Artistic Director; Lawrence Ouellette, primary Wood Craftsman and Vice-President; Ronald Goulet, registered Professional Engineer: Jarrett Woodward and Richard DeCosta assist in releathering operations and field work. Assistants also include Jacob Minardi, Zachary Boston, Justin and Nathan Ouellette. Kevin Lindsay is the company-s Northeast Representative and assists in installations and tuning.
