Fox (Organ Historical Society, 1991). - Rodney Gleason was born 27 November, 1851 in Reading, Massachusetts. He became a cabinetmaker by 1882. He was with the George Ryder firm of Boston, Massachusetts; later he was a partner in Brennan, Gleason, & White of Boston, c. 1896. The firm was short-lived: it was only active until c. 1902. Gleason left the organ business and became a farmhand or milk dealer in Reading, Massachusetts, 1905-1911; he died 6 May 1932. Sources: Boston Organ Club Newsletter: 118:4.
