Born in Sweden, 1871; apprenticed with Marcussen firm of Aabenraa, Denmark; with Furtwaengler-Hammar of Hannover, Germany, 1891-92; with William Schuelke, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1893-97; changed his name after his grandmother in 1898; returned to Sweden ca. 1897 and was with Marcussen firm; began new firm in Goeteberg, Sweden, in 1898 and used Schuelke pneumatic system; died 1941.
