Hutchings of MA, where he was a flue voicer; he was later with the Johnson firm of MA. From 1888 until 1894, he was a partner with Jesse Woodbury in Woodberry & Harris of Boston, MA. He was associated with Jas. E. Treat & Co. in late 1892. He was with E. W. Lane of Waltham, MA, in 1894.
