Badger was born January. 3, 1855 in Pomfret, Connecticut. He was the father-in-law of Walter Elliot. He was with Steere & Turner of Westfield, Massachusetts, until 1890, as a pipemaker. He operated his own pipe shop inside the Reuben Midmer & Son plant in Brooklyn, New York, 1890; he followed the Midmer firm to Merrick, Long Island, New York, 1906. Mr. Badger died on February 3, 1920. His pipe shop was then relocated to Rockville Center, Long Island, New York, in 1921, by his son-in-law, Walter V. Elliot. Staff: Edward W. Angell.
