Johnson firm of Westfield, Massachusetts; continued father's pipemaking business; firm merged with Samuel Pierce firm of Reading, Massachusetts, 1919; with successor Dennison Organ Pipe Co., 1924, head voicer with firm; with Aeolian-Skinner firm, 1944-1948; returned to Dennison firm of Reading, Massachusetts; retired 1953; cellist, instructor at Smith College; died 25 May 1967 in Westfield, Massachusetts. Staff: (Nicholas Chatelain?); Leon D. Phelps; Joseph G.
