Pilcher & Sons firm of Louisville, Kentucky, 1892; with Jesse Woodberry & Co. of Boston, Massachusetts, 1898, wood pipemaker; with George S. Hutchings firm of Massachusetts, foreman of chest department; with Ernest M. Skinner firm of Boston, 1901; briefly with Hope-Jones Organ Co. of Elmira, New York; returned to Skinner, became superintendent; partner with Theodore C. Lewis in Lewis & Hitchcock, Inc. of Washington, District of Columbia, 1916; retired 1963; died 27 January 1967, age 91. Source: The Diapason, April 1967, 38.
