2015-09-25/2019-09-28 - From Organ Database Builders editor Stephen Hall, November 28, 2015. — John Henry Hose was born February 3, 1907 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He married Augusta White on December 27, 1930 in Hagerstown. He worked for the M.P. Moller firm his entire career. He apprenticed there, became head flue voicer, and was factory superintendent in 1940 and 1941. He was named tonal director in 1944. He became vice-president and tonal director of the company, a position he served in until his death at age 64. He died March 10, 1974 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.
