Henry Hosszer

Notes

2004-10-30/2019-09-29 - From the OHS PC Database, derived from A Guide to North American Organbuilders, by David H. Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). — With Aeolian-Skinner firm of Boston, Massachusetts, 35 years*; operated firm; died April 6, 1941, age 67. *Aeolian-Skinner was formed in 1932 by the merger of the Skinner Organ Co. with the organ department of Aeolian, therefore Hosszer could not have worked for Aeolian-Skinner for 35 years. Most likely he worked for the Skinner Organ Co. and remained with the firm after the merger, although he might have worked with Aeolian. —Ed. Source: The Diapason June 1941, 20.
