2015-08-29/2020-04-09 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing Editor, August 25, 2016. — Claude B. Ball was a theater organist and organ teacher in the 1920s. He was with the Rudolph Wurlitzer Manufacturing Co. of Chicago, Illinois, 1920, as director of the education department.1 There he taught an entire generation of theater organists. After the switch to movies with sound tracks, he continued as organist for several men's lodges in northern Ohio. He died in Cincinnati, Ohio on Feb 1, 1959 at age 92.2 Sources: Diapason, Jan. 1920, 3.
