Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). — Brother of Clarence Lethurby; representative of Wurlitzer firm of North Tonawanda, New York, in San Francisco, California, 1920s; established musical instrument business, 1918; built organs under the Lethurby-Smith name in association with the Frederick W. Smith & Son firm of Alameda, California; sold mechanical instruments; with Seeburg-Smith firm in San Francisco, agent; died 1941; succeeded by his brother; spelling alternate 'Leathurby'.
