Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). - Born in Steubenville, Ohio, [c.1875]; graduate of Oberlin College, 1897; attended Grinnell College, 1901; with Lyon & Healy firm of Chicago, Illinois, 1903, with firm in Battle Creek, Michigan, factory manager; in Kalamazoo, Michigan, 1907, organist, choirmaster; with Kilgen firm of St. Louis, Missouri, 1908; professor at Grinnell College, 1909, alumni secretary, 1922; died October 8, 1936 in Grinnell, Iowa, age 61.
