Notes

2004-10-30/2019-09-06 - From the OHS PC Database, derived from A Guide to North American Organbuilders, by David H. Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). — Son of Frank T. Milner; assistant to his father in W.W. Kimball Co. in Chicago, Illinois*, manager of New York City, New York branch of firm, 1916-1930; died 20 September, 1941 in New Rochelle, New York. *We do not have definite dates for his time in Chicago, but it could have been as early as 1901 when his father started with Kimball, but the end date must be no later than 1916 when he began in New York. His father is also listed as branch manager in New York City without a date, possibly father and son were in New York together at some point, the son remaining behind in New York when the father returned to Chicago. —Ed.
