He was in Buffalo, New York, pipemaker (with Garret House?); with Hall & Labagh of New York City, New York, 1858; with successor Hall, Labagh & Co. of New York City, by 1870; with the Roosevelt firm of New York City, 1876, head of pipe shop; retired c. 1887; died September 25, 1912.
