2015-10-08/2020-02-08 - From Builders editor, Stephen Hall, February 5, 2020. — Patterson holds a BM from Muskingum College (New Concord, Ohio) and a MM from Northwestern University, with additional graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. He began his organbuilding career working summers at A.W. Brandt Co., Columbus, Ohio, from 1969 through 1979. He worked full time with Berghaus from 1980 to 1984, spent one year with Peebles-Herzog, Inc., Columbus, Ohio (1983-84), then returned to Berghaus (1984-1989). From 1989-1999, he was Director of Music, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Lincoln Nebraska. Concurrently, he was also the curator of the organs at First-Plymouth Church, Nebraska Wesleyan University and Westminster Presbyterian Church, all of Lincoln, Nebraska.
