2016-10-16/2019-04-29 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, October 16, 2016. - Frank Beman was active as an organ builder in Binghamton, New York, from about 1884. He incorporated as Frank Beman & Son in 1913, then either changed the company name to Beman Symphonie Orchestra Co. or at least used that name on their nameplates for theater organs from 1916 to about 1919. It appears to be one of several names used by the Bemans for their business, this one seems to have been chosen specifically for building theater organs. After 1919, the company was known as Beman Organ Co. It was last listed in 1933.
