2015-11-12/2019-11-03 - From the OHS Database Builders Editor, May 22, 2016. — Established in 1970 and located in Warrensburg, Missouri, Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc., is a full service company building, enlarging, rebuilding, and restoring pipe organs. Installations range in scope from small two-manual organs to very large instruments of four or five manuals and can be found throughout the United States. The company primarily usees Blackinton-style electro-pneumatic slider windchests with pneumatic pallets for the main chests, and electro-pneumatic pouch chests for the reeds and unit ranks to allow some judicious borrowings and to facilitate the use of different pressures for the reed stops.
