Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). — Born November 16, 1880 in Weikersheim, Württemberg, Germany; apprenticed with August Laukhuff firm of Germany, 1894; with Walcker firm of Ludwigsburg, Germany. Entered the United States June 9, 1903; with Wirsching firm of Salem, Ohio, [dates unknown]; in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1919; with Wangerin-Weickhardt Organ Co. of Milwaukee in 1920 and for 15 years as head voicer; with Robert-Morton firm of Van Nuys, California, 1923; with Maas Organ Co. of Los Angeles, California, 1934; died January 11, 1955 in Van Nuys, California.
