2019-11-23/2019-11-23 - From Organ Database Builders editor Stephen Hall, November 22, 2019. — Schumacher closed the firm in Lakeland in the late 1980s and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. He continued doing mostly service work in Florida for a few more years, retiring around 1997. He continued as a church musician until 2016, retiring from St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Daytona Beach where he had directed the choir and his wife had been organist.
