Simonton (1915-1979) was a Hollywood businessman and entrepreneur, known for his work in preserving the work of musicians in the Welte-Mignon piano rolls, and for founding the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS). He also purchased the business interests of the Alfred Kilgen firm of Los Angeles, but whether he was actively involved or not in running the company is open to question.
