2025-02-23/2025-03-07 - The entry "Tuker, W. J." in David Fox's Guide to North American Organbuilders, identical in both the 1991 and 1997 editions, is an error for William J. Tucker. Fox's source is "C. F. Winder Company Quits," The Diapason, December 1915, 1. The text of the brief article reads as follows: "News comes from Richmond, Va., that the C. F. Winder Organ Company has closed its plant and gone out of business as the consequence of reverses of one kind and another. The company, of which C. F. Winder, formerly of Iowa, was president and W. J. Tucker secretary and treasurer, was incorporated under the state laws a few years ago and had started out to build a number of organs." See main entry: William J. Tucker -Charles Eberline
