He began working with Miller Pipe Organ Co. of Louisville, Kentucky, in 1981. He became manager of the electrical and leathering departments in 1988. When the original owners of the firm retired in 2013, they transferred the name and certain assets to Mr. Waller. Together with his business partner, Dan Martin, the two formed a new company, Miller Organ Service, LLC.
