Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1991). — Born November 14, 1808 in Nicholsschmiede, Silesia, Prussia; emigrated from Bremen April 14, 1855 to Galveston, Texas, arriving June 7 with wife and two daughters; relocated to Roundtop, Texas, 1860; organbuilder; died December 21, 1870.
