Werner was with the Hendrickson firm of St. Peter, MN, c. 1983-1985. He worked with the Dobson firm of Lake City, IA, 1987-1989; then returned to Hendrickson in 1989. In addition to being an organbuilder, he was also a cabinetmaker, and a blacksmith.
