Wick (Oct. 30, 1919 - June 15, 2002) was president of the Wicks Organ Company from 1948 until 2002.1 He was married to Barbara () Wick in 1960,2 they had five children: Kim Wick Chappelle, Mary Wick Haberer, Mark Wick, Scott Wick,3 and Michael Wick (1966-1969).4 He was the son of John F. Wick,5 one of the three brothers who founded the Wicks Organ Company in 1906.6 Martin Wick was born Oct. 30, 1919 in Illinois, the son of jeweler turned organ builder,7 John F. Wick and his wife, Mary Schwartz Wick.8 His early career in organ building was interrupted by military service during World War II where he served in the United States Army.9 Returning from service, he resumed working in the family firm, and became the president of the firm upon his father's death in 1948.10 He remained at the helm until his own death on June 15, 2002 at age 82.11 His widow Barbara became president of the company.12 Sources: "Martin M.
