Clark & Sons of Nyack, New York, c. 1934; organist; with Wurlitzer firm of North Tonawanda, New York, late 1940s, demonstrator; representative of Schantz firm of Orrville, Ohio, in New York City, New York, 1980s; died May 15, 1987 in New York City, New York, age 67. 2019-09-29/2019-10-01 - From Organ Database Builders editor Stephen Hall, September 28, 2019. — Ray Bohr was born November 2, 1919. He served in the United States Army Signal Corp during World War II, and took part in the battle of Iwo Jima. Bohr was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1985. He died from the disease on May 15, 1987, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Source: Emails from Donald Francis in September 2019; Mr. Francis described Ray Bohr as a long-time friend of the family.
