2019-10-27/2019-10-27 - From Organ Database Builders editor Stephen Hall, October 26, 2019. — There were several Kilgen firms, but the only one to maintain a New York office would have been Charles Kilgen & Sons (1902-1939), the continuation of George Kilgen & Son (1873-1902). Charles expanded the company and opened a sales and service center in New York City, most likely in the late 1920s when the organ for St. Patrick's Cathedral was under construction.
