After World War II the family had to emigrate to Austria, the firm was nationalized by the socialist government at (then) Czechoslovakia and therefore was owned by the state. After the political changes in Eastern Europe the firm is now again in private ownership, but not by the Glatter-Goetz Family. Note: The Glatter-Goetz family operates the other successor firm (Reiger Orgelbau) in Austria.

After World War II, when the national borders were redrawn and new states created, the owners, the Glatter-Götz family, were forced to leave, and the factory became nationalized. The Glatter-Götz family restarted the firm in Austria in 1946 as Rieger Orgelbau, the socialist government continued to operate the factory as Rieger-Kloss.
