The Company was founded in 1996 by Mark W. Hayes, who continues as owner-operator. In 2004, the company was re-organized as a private corporation under the laws of the state of Alabama, with Mark as President and CEO and KC Hayes as Vice-President. Mark holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance from Birmingham-Southern College, received in 1985. He worked with Charles Brown and Lenora McCroskey on a Masters in Performance at The University of North Texas. While there, he also studied harpsichord and started learning about the organ from the other side of the console. After four years working under the guidance of Dan Garland in Fort Worth, Texas, Mark returned to his home state, where he began working as a representative of Casavant Frères, Ltée. He is also recognized for the care of Holtkamp organs in the region, caring both for their largest mechanical-action organ in the Moody Music Building of the University of Alabama and for many of their other instruments.
