Fowler was born November 17, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois; he established a service firm in Lansing, Michigan, in 1978, which became Fowler Organ Co. The firm gradually expanded into becoming a full service builder constructing over 30 new instruments.1 In 2017, the firm merged with Hebert and Sons Organ Company to form Fowler-Hebert Organ. Brian Fowler passed away in April of 2018.
