Clark in Clark & Brooks Church Organ Builders of Berlin, Wisconsin, 1869; with Marshall Brothers of Ripon, Wisconsin, 1870; with Marshall Brothers of Milwaukee 1871-1876; with successor Marshall Brothers & Clarke, 1872-1873; operated firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1873-1875; partner with Philipp* Odenbrett in Odenbrett & Brooks of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1876-1877; partner with Amos Nudd in Brooks and Nudd of Waupun, Wisconsin, 1877. *In both the 1991 and 1997 editions of Fox-s book, Odenbrett-s first name is incorrectly spelled Phillip instead of Philipp in this entry. –Ed.
