Fox (Richmond, Va.: Organ Historical Society, 1997). - Born 1873 in Sheffield, England; son of John Brown, brother of Calvin Brown. H immigrated to the United States in 1891. He established Kinetic Engineering with Robert P. Elliot in New York City, New York, c. 1904. He was later with Austin firm of Hartford, Connecticut, 1910, as a designer; with firm in New York, 1919.
