2018-05-07/2019-02-11 - Note from Organ Database Builders editor Charles Eberline, November 8, 2017. - John Dennis Bruffy was born on August 6, 1944, in Charleston, West Virginia. His obituary states that "John's two main earthly passions were piloting small planes and building and repairing organs, having built his own, complete pipe organ in the 1970's.” In 2011 he established the Artis Organ Company, an organ repair business, in Denver, Colorado.
