2019-05-16 - Updated by Charles Eberline, naming this as the source of information: \"Here & There,\" <i>The Diapason</i> 69, no. 2 (January 1978): 10.. <br> <br>The following notice in <i>The Diapason</i> describes the fate of this instrument:<br><br>Salem Lutheran Church, in Bethel, Pa., northwest of Reading, was consumed by an early-morning fire on Nov. 9. Although the brick walls were left standing, part of the roof collapsed, and the interior of the building was destroyed. A pipe organ, said to have been built more than a century ago by John Love [<i>sic</i>] of Ithaca, NY, was among the losses.
