2018-02-27 - Updated by William M. Worden, the builder.

While the chests are described as Austin Universal Air Chests, the chests were not built by Austin, but were of that general type. The description of console equipment listed above is for the 1943 replacement console installed by Hillgreen-Lane. While the Hammer organ retained the Odell case, pedal windchests and much Odell pipework, it might be best not to regard the Hammer organ as a rebuilding of the Odell. Given the addition of a manual, plus rescalings and the use of Odell pipework in ways and locations never intended, and the disposal of much Odell pipework including all the reeds except the pedal 16', the Hammer likely bore little tonal resemblance to the Odell. -Database Manager
