2019-06-25 - Updated by Jim Lewis, naming this as the source of information: Marysville Daily Appeal December 24, 1876. According to the Marysville Daily Appeal newspaper of December 24, 1876, this organ was built by Samuel Hamill of Cambridge, Mass. It was one of his \"#5 Giant Organs\". It was not brought around the Horn, but conveniently shipped by railroad and installed by Shellard & McCraith of San Francisco.<br>It measured 11\'6\" wide, 19\' high and 7\' deep. 14 stops, 381 pipes and a compass of 61/27. -Database Manager
