2024-11-25 - Previously thought to be 1860. Article in the *Kennebec Journal* (Augusta, Maine) · Fri, Mar 6, 1868 · Page 3, describes a concert on the "new organ" and gives the specification as well. "The organ manufactured by George Stevens & Co., East Cambridge, Mass. It is enclosed in an elegant black walnut case, is twenty feet high, twelve feet deep, seventeen feet wide, has in front thirty-one gilt pipes, and is finished in style of architecture to accord with the form and style of the church.
