2016-03-07 - Updated through online information from Mark Argo.
I was organist at this church from 1977-88. We had an Austin rep come down from Connecticut in 1986 to bid on putting in a new console. The rep had the original file with him, and he was astonished that the specification of the organ was different from the specification that was in the file.

We determined that the original specification, which had 13 ranks as specified on the description, was reduced to 11 ranks, with the difference spent on the spectacular facade. The facade was not mentioned in the original documents. The stoplist I have provided is accurate for the original 1915 organ.

A 4'Principal with 2' extention was added in 1988, and the 4' Gemshorn was revoiced and placed in the Swell as a 4', 2' and 1 1/3' in the same rebuild. This new specification gave the organ much more color. The organ was voiced very well for the room, and full organ on the great played an octave higher with the 16' and 4' Great to Great couplers was a spectacular sound! -Database Manager
