2014-06-05 - Components of the previous organ, Austin Op. 1690, were incorporated into the organ, along with some pipework and the console, which was rebuilt; the church and organ were destroyed by an arson fire on March 18, 2013. -Database Manager

2018-03-04 - Updated by Steven Ickes, who gave this as the source of the information: History tab on First Christian Church website (fccowb.org).<br> Actually, the March 2013 fire was caused by a lightning strike, not by an act of arson. (Per church website, fccowb.org) -Database Manager

2024-07-30 - Church's website does state that the 2013 fire was actually started by a lightening strike. The church had their first services in the newly built church in November of 2016. A pipe organ was not installed in the new church. -C. Kenneth Stein
