2009-02-21 - Updated through on-line information from Joseph Foxhood. -- The Austin sat silent since the 70's and finally in 2004 it was brought to life again, only to be badly damaged in the Katrina flood of 2005. The console and wiring through the floor as well as the blower were severely damaged and the organ is presently unplayable. -Database Manager

2022-08-05 - From neworleanschurches.com and John DeMajo: An article in the New Orleans Times Picayune newspaper announced the official closing of Grace Episcopal Church on Canal Street effective January 5, 2012. The closing was announced by Bishop Morris Thompson. The church sustained major damage as a result of the Hurricane Katrina flooding, and membership had severely decreased. -Jeff Scofield
