Notes

2004-12-21 - Information identifying this instrument from the Austin Organs, Inc. web site, accessed December 20, 2004: http://www.austinorgans.com/organ-research.htm. -Database Manager

2016-01-30 - Updated through online information from Francis McMullen.
The Irem Temple Shrine, AAONMS, was built in 1907-8, and heavily renovated with a new Stage & Stagehouse in 1932. I do not know when the Austin organ was removed, but it was replaced by a modest electronic organ, circa 1960's Conn or Wurlitzer.

The main organ chamber was on "house left", on the side, front of the auditorium, and all pipe-work had been removed by the time I explored the building around 2007. At that time, the Spencer "Orgo-Blow" blower still resided in the basement. The building is now owned by the City of Wilkes-Barre, and is currently mothballed, hopefully awaiting restoration / renovation, and some sort of productive future. -Database Manager
