2016-06-25 - Updated through online information from Steve Bartley.
This Austin organ was dedicated in 1914 (Sun Paper, Jan 15, 1914) It incorporated the 1892 Roosevelt, which in turn had used the pipes and case of the previous Erben. The new Austin was in a chamber, north side of the chancel, while the old Erben/Roosevelt was in the rear of the building.
Large renovations had taken place in the building in the few years prior to the new Austin. The three sided balcony removed, and a new tower replaced the older tower. The Erben/Roosevelt was installed on Austin chests, in the tower, behind a new handsome Austin facade. The Chancel organ was a more modest sized instrument primarily used with the newly vested choir.
All this was retained and incorporated in the 1925 & 1990's renovation-enlargement. But all but a handful of ranks were trashed with the installation of the present Letourneau organ. -Database Manager
