2013-05-10 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Austin was sold in 1956 to a Methodist church in Pottsdam, NY. where it was installed by William Patchell.<br>The church was founded in 1871 as Blanchard Street Methodist. The first organ in-use as a reed organ. The second organ was a used pipe organ from Reading, Massachusetts installed in 1907 by Gilbert & Butler. In 1956 the Parker Street Methodist congregation merged with Central Methodist Church at Central's edifice. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ was originally built for this location. In 1956, Parker Street
Methodist merged with Central Methodist at the Central building on the NE
corner of Haverhill & Lawrence Streets. The Austin was sold to a Methodist
Church in Potsdam, NY. And set-up there by William F. Patchell of Malden,
Massachusetts.
