2021-01-14 - Installed in March 1961, this was the first mechanical action instrument built by Casavant. It was designed by Tonal Director Lawrence Phelps and Karl Wilhelm, who was then head of the mechanical organ department. The organ was installed in the gallery of the church as a protoptype that would be available as a demonstrator and then sold. However, the church purchased the instrument in 1963. -Jeff Scofield
