Notes

2005-01-07 - Information identifying this instrument from the Austin Organs, Inc. web site, accessed December 29, 2004: http://www.austinorgans.com/organ-research.htm. -Database Manager

2014-07-31 - The building sold to the Miracle Temple in June 2012; the last service in that building by Second Congregational was held July 14, 2013; they now share the building of Crossroads Presbyterian Church, Waterford, Connecticut, and are now known as the Waterford Congregational United Church of Christ. -Database Manager

2022-08-06 - This instrument replaced a 3-manual Murray Harris electro-pneumatic instrument (new with the building), installed circa 1918. It is not known if the Austin recycled any of the Harris pipework, or why the Harris needed replacement after only a decade. The fate of the Austin after the praise congregation took over the building is unknown. -Scot Huntington

2022-08-09 - A fire in December 1926 began in the bellows room behind the organ and heavily damaged the sanctuary with smoke damage throughout the building. The Harris organ would have been damaged or destroyed as a result. -Scot Huntington
